Purcella Construction, Inc. has been family-owned and operated since its beginning in 1978. Meet the members of the Purcella Construction, Inc. team who are keeping the tradition of quality and value alive in southern New Mexico:
Gerald “Dean” Purcella, Founder
Dean Purcella began his career in construction in Roswell, New Mexico in 1958 at the age of 17. He traveled around the United States and educated himself in the construction industry. In 1978, he started Purcella Construction. Dean passed away in January 2011.
Korey Purcella, Co-Owner
Korey is a native of Alamogordo, New Mexico. As young as two years old, Korey would go to work with Dean, spotting nails and doing whatever Dean asked of him. As the years went by Korey learned every aspect of construction from lot prep to completion. In 1991, he became co-owner of Purcella Construction, Inc., Inc. Korey lives in Alamogordo and primarily works on commercial job sites on Holloman Air Force Base, White Sands Missile Range, Alamogordo and Las Cruces, New Mexico. Korey holds a GB98 Commercial Contractor license and a GB02 Residential Contractor license.
Anna Purcella, Co-Owner
Anna is also a native of Alamogordo, New Mexico and is a 5th generation Alamogordoan. She married Korey in 1990, and they have four children together. Anna works in the office and on construction sites and hold a GB02 Residential Contractor license.
Jimmy Hood, Supervisor/Foreman
Jimmy is a seasoned construction professional. With more than 45 years of professional experience, he has spent most of his time (over 20 years) with Purcella Construction, Inc. Jimmy performs a wide range of duties, from working with clients to maintain timely progress and project completion to managing and overseeing daily work of multiple team members to doing inspections on completed work. He is a hands-on supervisor.
Trent Parker, Supervisor/Foreman
Trent has over 15 years of construction experience and has been part of the Purcella Construction, Inc. team for over seven years. As part of the team, he performs a number of duties, including working with clients to execute their contracts in a timely fashion and overseeing daily work of multiple employees to ensure quality. Trent is also a hands-on supervisor.
Sergio Rios, Team Member
Sergio has spent 14 of his 22 years in the construction industry with Purcella Construction, Inc. He has extensive experience with finish applications and balances individual and team work to get projects completed on time. Sergio is one of our bilingual team members. Sergio is an integral member of the Purcella Construction, Inc. team.
Karlo Pannell, Team Member
Karlo is one of the newest members of the Purcella Construction, Inc. team, although he joins us with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Karlo has extensive experience in carpentry and framing and has demonstrated his ability to work in the fast-paced commercial construction industry with professionalism and resourcefulness. Karlo is an essential team member of the Purcella Construction, Inc. team.
